"Pray" was inspired by the trials of our faith that challenge believers daily, and the faith in God that is necessary to overcome them all.
VERSE: Burdens, weighing you down, spirit, so long to the ground, you feel that it is hopeless, because you can't see your way out.
VERSE: Defenseless, all alone in a crowd, heartache brings life's rain like storm clouds, when will it be over, and will it end before you drown.
CHORUS: When the tears you cry are no longer tears of joy but pain, and you're hurting deep inside, when the problems in your life, begin to rage, get down on bended knees and start to pray.
VERSE: Desperate is the look on your face, wanting God's mercy and grace to rain down upon you, and show that his love is true.
